The International Sumo Federation nominates Batyr Altyv (Russia) for the IWGA The World Games Greatest Athlete of All Time.
Mr. Altyv won both gold and silver at The World Games 2017. He won the silver medal in the Open class, where he fought against athletes close to twice his size! In addition he has a silver medal from The World Games 2013.
Mr. Altyv won gold and bronze from World Championships and four gold medals from European Championships.
Altyv's candidacy will be sure to increase interest in Sumo.
