Top Sumo athletes from over 30 counties/regions will compete in Tokyo, Japan on 7 & 8 October.
Sumo, originally a traditional sport of Japan, is now beloved all over the world. Sumo attracts many fans because of its clear and easy – to - understand rules. Fans are excited by matches between international athletes wearing Mawashi with dynamic techniques on Dohyo. International Sumo Federation (IFS) has been promoting Sumo in the world. Recently, not only Japan but also Ukraine, Mongolia and Brazil are the leading countries of Sumo. Please join the Championships to watch dynamic matches by national representatives of Sumo from all over the world at Arena Tahcikawa Tachihi, Tokyo.
